Yoga: Your Path to Coming Home to Yourself
When I started practicing yoga over 15 years ago, I thought it was just exercise. A way to stretch, strengthen, and maybe quiet my mind for an hour.
I was so wrong. And I’m so grateful for that.
Yoga opened a door I didn’t know existed—a door to my inner landscape, to presence, to a way of being in the world that changed everything. It taught me that the answers I was seeking “out there” were already within me, waiting to be discovered.
It transformed my relationship with my body, my mind, my breath, my self.
And it continues to teach me, every single day, what it means to be truly alive.
This is what I want to share with you.
Not the perfect Instagram pose. Not the “right” way to breathe. Not one more thing you have to be good at.
But the practice of coming home to yourself. Of finding stillness in chaos. Of discovering that you are already whole, already enough, already exactly what you’ve been looking for.
What Is Yoga (Really)?
It’s the union of body, mind, and spirit.
When we move with intention and breathe with awareness, we integrate all parts of ourselves—not as separate entities, but as one beautiful, complex whole.
It’s a practice of presence.
In a world that constantly pulls us into past regrets and future anxieties, yoga anchors us in the only moment we actually have: this one.
It’s an exploration of your inner landscape.
Every time you step onto your mat, you’re not just exercising your body—you’re discovering who you are beneath all the roles you play and stories you tell.
It’s a path to self-compassion.
Yoga teaches us to meet ourselves exactly where we are, without judgment or pushing. To honor our edges. To celebrate small victories. To be kind to ourselves.
It’s a philosophy for living.
The ancient wisdom of yoga—the eight limbs, the yamas and niyamas—offers a complete framework for living with integrity, purpose, and peace.
My Approach to Teaching:
I Meet You Where You Are
Whether you’re a complete beginner or have been practicing for years, whether you’re flexible or stiff, strong or building strength—you are welcome exactly as you are.
I Teach the Whole Practice
Yes, we’ll move through asanas (poses). But we’ll also explore breath work, meditation, philosophy, and how to bring yoga off the mat and into your daily life.
I Honor the Tradition
I’m trained in Warrior Flow® Yoga, a practice that honors the ancient roots of yoga while making it accessible and relevant for modern practitioners.
I Focus on Inner Experience
What matters isn’t what the pose looks like from the outside. It’s what you’re experiencing on the inside. We’re cultivating awareness, not perfection.
I Create Safe Space
My classes and private sessions are judgment-free zones where you can explore, ask questions, struggle, laugh, and be fully human.

The Eight Limbs of Yoga: A Brief Introduction
Yoga is so much more than the physical poses (asanas). The ancient sage Patanjali outlined eight “limbs” or aspects of yoga that together form a complete path to living with awareness and integrity:
- Yama – Universal moral codes (how we relate to the world)
- Niyama – Personal observances (how we relate to ourselves)
- Asana – Physical postures (the body practice)
- Pranayama – Breath control (working with life force)
- Pratyahara – Withdrawal of senses (turning inward)
- Dharana – Concentration (focused attention)
- Dhyana – Meditation (sustained awareness)
- Samadhi – Union (complete integration)
